If you are not already a member, consider joining.  ECHO is a terrific resource for Association Directors.  Membership benefits include a monthly magazine full of well-targeted articles about maintenance pointers, governance issues and legal and accounting updates.  You will often find yourself saying, "Wow, we have that same problem" or "That's an idea worth trying."

There are numerous seminars offered throughout the year, addressing real world topics that you face as you devote your time and energy to the day-to-day business of your Association.

ECHO is also a good resource if you are looking for a specific professional to work with your Association.  There is a large directory of vendors (painting, roofing, landscaping, etc), management companies, reserve analysts, accountants, and attorneys who are also members.
